SHINE is hosting a conference day entitled “Transforming Our Community.”  The aim is to provide an opportunity for church leaders to share ideas, form partnerships and engage with representatives from the Police, St Helens Council, and NHS.  Our guest speakers will be the Rt Rev Richard Blackburn (Bishop of Warrington) and Mrs Carole Hudson, Chief Executive to the St Helens Council.  The day will be facilitated by Rev Malcolm Duncan, Founder of Church and Community.

Prospective Parliamentary Candidates for St Helens North and South & Whiston will take part in a general election hustings at the St Helen’s Parish Church on Tuesday the 27th of April 2010.  Doors open at 6:45pm with a prompt 7pm start.  OPEN FORUM – ALL WELCOME.  Questions for candidates to be submitted in writing upon entry.
